Fetchr ("we", "us", "our") operates fetchr.cc. This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. We've kept this short and plain-English intentionally.
What We Collect
Information you provide
When you submit a video URL to download, that URL is processed by our server. We do not store submitted URLs beyond the duration of your download session.
Server logs
Our web server (Nginx) logs standard HTTP access data including your IP address, the page you visited, the time of your request, and your browser's user-agent string. These logs are used solely for security monitoring and are not shared with third parties. Logs are automatically rotated and deleted within 7 days.
Downloaded files
Videos you download through Fetchr are temporarily stored on our server to make them available to you. All files are automatically and permanently deleted after 30 minutes, regardless of whether you downloaded them.
What We Don't Collect
- We do not require you to create an account or provide an email address
- We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising
- We do not embed third-party analytics scripts (no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel)
- We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties
- We do not build profiles of users or track download history
Cookies
Fetchr does not use cookies for tracking or advertising purposes. The site may set a session cookie for functional purposes (such as maintaining state during a download), which expires when you close your browser.
Third-Party Services
Fetchr fetches videos directly from third-party platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, etc.) on your behalf. When our server contacts these platforms, it does so using our server's IP address — your IP address is not passed to those platforms.
We do not use any third-party advertising networks, analytics providers, or social media tracking pixels on this site.
Data Security
All traffic to fetchr.cc is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. Downloaded files are stored in an isolated temporary directory on our server and automatically purged after 30 minutes. Access to our server is restricted to authorized administrators.
Children's Privacy
Fetchr is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Your Rights (EU/EEA Users)
If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. Given that we collect minimal data and don't maintain user accounts, most GDPR requests can be fulfilled by simply noting that we hold no personal data tied to your identity.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of Fetchr after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
